At DLTS International School, our IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) challenges students to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and connect learning to real-world contexts. As part of a comprehensive IB education framework, the MYP programme is designed to support adolescent learners during a crucial stage of personal and academic development.
Throughout the IB Middle Years Programme, students develop key Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills—including communication, research, teamwork, self-management, and critical thinking—while embodying the ten IB Learner Profile Attributes (LPAs) that shape them into open-minded, principled, and reflective individuals.
The MYP programme features subject-specific instruction delivered by specialist teachers, alongside Interdisciplinary Units (IDUs) that foster collaboration across subject areas. One of the programme’s signature experiences is the Grade 8 Community Project, where students address real-world issues and present their learning to the school community.
Beyond the classroom, DLTS students participate in community service and a variety of special interest clubs that promote leadership, creativity, and personal growth—hallmarks of a balanced and globally focused IB education.
