At DLTS International School, our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) supports students during a critical stage of development through a globally recognised model of IB education. This student-centred PYP programme nurtures curiosity, promotes inquiry, and builds a strong sense of self.

At the core of the IB Primary Years Programme are the IB Learner Profile Attributes (LPAs), which encourage students to be caring, open-minded, and reflective. Through engaging projects and assessments, we help students develop key Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, including communication, research, collaboration, self-management, and critical thinking.

The PYP programme offers a balanced learning experience, combining specialist subjects (such as Thai, PE, and Music) with generalist areas (such as Literacy, Math, and Units of Inquiry). In Grade 5, students culminate their journey with the PYP Exhibition—a self-directed project that showcases their growth, understanding, and readiness for the next stage of their IB education.
